Second-half goals by Dejan Dražić, Pol Moreno, and Brison Fernandes led FC Goa to a 3-1 victory over Odisha FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 at the PJN Stadium in Margao, Goa. Suhair VP scored a late consolation goal for Odisha FC.
FC Goa, after a series of draws and a loss, secured the win, moving up to fifth place in the standings with 13 points. Odisha FC, with five points, dropped to 12th position. Ayush Chhetri was named the Player of the Match for his strong performance in midfield.
FC Goa’s head coach Manolo Márquez made four changes to the starting lineup, including giving a debut to goalkeeper Bob Jackson Raj. On the other hand, Odisha FC’s head coach T.G. Purushothaman fielded an unchanged side for the third consecutive match.
The first half saw both teams having possession but struggling to create clear chances. Set-pieces were a key aspect, with both teams coming close but failing to score. The tempo picked up in the second half, with FC Goa breaking the deadlock in the 62nd minute through Dejan Dražić’s goal.
FC Goa continued their momentum, adding two more goals through Pol Moreno and Brison Fernandes. Odisha FC managed to pull one back through Suhair VP. The match ended with FC Goa securing a well-deserved 3-1 victory at home.
