Maharashtra’s Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil secured the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Men ISSF event at the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship in Bhopal. He scored 252.9 in the final, claiming the top spot on the podium. The silver medal went to Haryana’s Rohit Kanyan with a score of 251.9, while West Bengal’s Baiduriya Biswas took the bronze with 230.8. Uttar Pradesh’s Karamjeet Singh finished fourth with 209.6.
In the qualification round, Delhi’s Paarth Makhija led with a score of 633.4, followed by Railways’ Shahu Tushar Mane at 630.0. Gujarat’s Gajjar Krish Jigneshbhai secured the third spot with 627.8, and Rudrankksh Patil entered the final in fourth place with 627.7.
West Bengal’s Ashmit Chatterjee emerged victorious in the 10m Air Rifle Junior Men category, scoring 251.0 in the final. Uttar Pradesh’s Piyush Sharma took the silver with 250.5, and Haryana’s Rohit Kanyan secured the bronze with 229.1. Uttar Pradesh’s Karamjeet Singh finished fourth with 207.9. In the qualification round, Piyush Sharma led with an impressive 631.7, followed by Ashmit Chatterjee at 631.1, Rohit Kanyan at 630.4, and Karamjeet Singh at 629.9.
Abhinav Shaw from West Bengal clinched the youth men’s title in the 10m Air Rifle category with a score of 254.4 in the final. Haryana’s Priyanshu secured the silver with 249.7, while Haryana’s Jatin Lamba claimed bronze with 228.1. Rohit Kanyan finished fourth with 207.1. In qualification, Haryana’s Pranav Jindal topped the standings with 626.1, followed by Haryana’s Krish Kumar at 626.0, Rajasthan’s Nemi Chand Dudi at 625.9, and Uttar Pradesh’s Jyotiraditya Gosain at 625.7.
