Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, a beloved Tollywood couple, recently marked their 21st wedding anniversary. Namrata shared a nostalgic photo of the couple on an airplane to commemorate the occasion. She expressed her enduring love for her husband, Mahesh Babu, stating that she chooses him every day even after more than two decades of marriage.
In response, Mahesh Babu reposted the picture on his Instagram Stories. Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu’s co-star in ‘Varanasi,’ reacted to the post with a mix of emojis including hearts and applause. The couple first met in 2000 during the filming of “Vamsi,” when Mahesh was a rising star in Telugu cinema and Namrata was a former Miss India Universe.
Initially facing opposition from Mahesh’s family, the couple eventually overcame all obstacles and tied the knot in a traditional ceremony on February 10, 2005. They welcomed their son Gautam in 2006 and their daughter Sitara in 2012. Mahesh Babu is set to star in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film “Varanasi,” where he will be joined by Priyanka Chopra as the female lead.
