The much-anticipated period film ‘Ranabaali’ by director Rahul Sankrityan marked the wedding of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna by unveiling a snippet of their wedding song ‘Endhayya Saami’. Mythri Movie Makers, the film’s production house, shared this special surprise on social media, celebrating the love between the characters Ranabaali and Jayamma. The romantic song, beautifully composed by Ajay and Atul, sung by Shweta Mohan and Ajay Gogavale, captures Jayamma’s post-wedding entry into Ranabaali’s home.
The movie features Vijay Deverakonda as Ranabaali and Rashmika Mandanna as Jayamma, with Arnold Vosloo playing the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. Produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, ‘Ranabaali’ is presented by T-Series and set in the British era, serving as a period action drama. Inspired by real events from the 1850s, the film aims to shed light on historical incidents misrepresented by the British during 1854-1878. It is not a biopic but a cinematic reconstruction based on real accounts and suppressed records.
‘Ranabaali’ will be the third collaboration between Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda after ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’. The movie is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on September 11th.
