Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, declared a resolution to defeat the BJP-led government at the Centre if her party wins the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal. Speaking at a rally in Bankura district, Banerjee emphasized their commitment to providing housing for all, highlighting the achievements of her government in constructing 1.3 million pucca houses.
She criticized the BJP for failing to fulfill its pre-election promises, accusing them of deceit and misleading the public. Banerjee specifically mentioned unfulfilled pledges related to financial assistance for women, highlighting instances where the BJP allegedly reneged on their commitments.
Taking a dig at the BJP’s recent ‘charge sheet’ against her government, Banerjee retaliated by accusing the BJP of harming the country and disregarding its values. She condemned the BJP’s actions and alleged mistreatment of citizens, asserting that her party’s grievances were against the BJP’s governance.
