Manipur’s Director General of Police, Mukesh Singh, has praised the Cycle Patrol initiative for its effectiveness in beat policing and community engagement. This initiative, implemented in various hill districts, allows for close monitoring of security situations in local areas while enhancing police-public interaction.
Having taken charge as the Manipur Police chief on June 1, Mukesh Singh has been actively visiting districts across the state to evaluate law and order conditions. He has been engaging in meetings with senior police officers, Army personnel, and other security forces to assess crime trends and operational readiness.
