Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, actively participated in the ‘Nasha-Mukt Jammu Kashmir Campaign’ march in Kupwara town, emphasizing the fight against drug abuse. Sinha highlighted the significant progress made in dismantling drug smuggling networks, with numerous arrests and seizures worth crores.

Acknowledging the public’s crucial role in this movement, Sinha praised the community’s support, transforming the campaign into a widespread revolution against narcotics. He underscored the interconnectedness of drug trafficking and terrorism, urging a unified effort to combat both threats effectively.

Sinha urged law enforcement agencies to intensify their crackdown on drug smugglers, especially in border districts like Kupwara, emphasizing the need for swift and decisive action. He also stressed the importance of rehabilitation for drug addicts, calling for compassion and support to reintegrate them into society.

The Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed the commitment to eradicating drug smuggling networks, expressing solidarity with the people’s demand for stringent action against offenders. Sinha emphasized the inseparable link between drug traffickers and terrorists, highlighting the devastating impact of their criminal collaboration.
