The Ministry of External Affairs dismissed a viral post alleging foreign involvement in the youth protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The MEA clarified that its spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, had stated a lack of information to share on the matter. The misleading post originated from a social media account named “PulseNewsBreaking.”

The denial was issued through the MEA’s official FactCheck handle to address the misrepresented statement. The MEA emphasized that the post distorted the spokesperson’s remarks made during a recent briefing. The post, initially in Telugu, falsely claimed no foreign funding or involvement from Pakistan or China in the protests.

According to the post, the Central Government has affirmed no foreign powers are behind the Jantar Mantar protest. It refuted claims of conspiracy and foreign funding by BJP supporters. PulseNewsBreaking’s post caused a stir among BJP supporters who had been alleging a conspiracy behind the protest.
