Minister of Art, Culture & Languages, Tourism, and Labour Kapil Mishra marked Rajasthan Day by conveying greetings on behalf of the Delhi government. A cultural event at the Delhi Secretariat showcased Rajasthan’s rich heritage. Organized by the Department of Art, Culture, and Languages, the event highlighted Rajasthan’s cultural significance.
Mishra praised Rajasthan’s global reputation for valor, cultural richness, and vibrant traditions. He acknowledged the contributions of Rajasthan residents in Delhi to the city’s progress. Mishra mentioned that Delhi, under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, aligns with PM Modi’s vision for ‘Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat’ by celebrating State Foundation Days.
The program featured Rajasthan’s folk culture, traditional music, and dance performances. Around 25 artists presented captivating acts like Kalbelia, Ghoomar, and Bhavai. Mishra emphasized the importance of such events in promoting cultural unity in the capital and preserving India’s diverse heritage.
Mishra also attended a special screening of the film ‘Dhurandhar – The Revenge’ during the International Film Festival, Delhi. He praised the dedication and sacrifices of Indian soldiers, highlighting films like Uri, Shershaah, and Dhurandhar for inspiring patriotism and youth. Mishra commended PM Modi’s efforts in advancing ‘New India’ towards self-reliance in the security sector.
