Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp, praising the participants as a link between India’s past and future. He commended the camp for showcasing discipline, commitment, and youth leadership potential.
During his visit, Seth received a ‘Guard of Honour’ from NCC cadets and enjoyed a band performance by The Scindia School, Gwalior. He highlighted the significance of Republic Day as a tribute to the Constitution and freedom fighters, urging a swadeshi approach among cadets to support Indian startups.
Seth recognized cadets who undertook remarkable feats, including a 1,300 km cyclothon for national integration and Mount Everest summits. Emphasizing duty, patriotism, and constitutional values, he inspired cadets to contribute towards a developed India by 2047.
Expressing gratitude to NCC officers for nurturing future leaders, Seth emphasized upholding the Tricolour’s honor and serving with integrity for a stronger nation. He also toured areas prepared by cadets on social awareness themes and learned about NCC’s history and achievements.
