The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports emphasizes the importance of youth as future leaders and policy makers in India. Through initiatives like the Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme 2026, cultural unity and youth empowerment are encouraged among Jammu and Kashmir’s youth. This program, under the vision of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat,’ aims to foster national integration and mutual understanding.
Recently, 37 youth delegates from Punjab participated in the exchange program held at the SCERT Auditorium in Srinagar. The initiative focuses on promoting youth engagement, leadership skills, and unity through interactive sessions, educational activities, and cultural exchanges. Participants are exposed to the rich traditions and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir, enhancing their cultural awareness and respect.
