BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty expressed concerns that Bengali Hindus might have to leave West Bengal if the Trinamool Congress wins the upcoming elections. He emphasized that the BJP is not against Indian Muslims but criticized the Trinamool Congress for creating divisions between communities in the state. Chakraborty highlighted the BJP’s organizational growth in the region over the past five years.
Chakraborty noted that the BJP’s increased organization has instilled a sense of security among the people, particularly emphasizing the sentiment of ‘Sanatan’ post the Kumbh Mela. He urged people to unite and vote against the current government to prevent potential repercussions. Chakraborty underscored the need for electoral participation to ensure a change in leadership.
The actor-turned-politician emphasized that if the current government remains in power, prominent figures, including himself, might have to leave West Bengal. He questioned the support of the Trinamool Congress for individuals associated with anti-Indian activities and criticized their alleged involvement in appeasement politics. Chakraborty called for a transparent electoral process to uphold democratic principles.
