A seminar focusing on “Emerging Trends and New Challenges Faced by Mizoram” was addressed by key officials. The event, held in conjunction with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, shed light on Mizoram’s susceptibility to drug trafficking given its location near international borders and the ‘Golden Triangle’. Various strategies including prevention, treatment, and community involvement were underscored as crucial in combating the problem.
