Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif extended his congratulations to Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok on their recent wedding. Arjun, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, tied the knot with entrepreneur Saaniya in a ceremony attended by notable personalities from the cricketing world. Kaif, a part of the T20 World Cup 2026 commentary panel, expressed his best wishes to Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali on this joyous occasion.
Kaif, who shares a longstanding cricketing connection with Tendulkar, reminisced about their time together while representing India in the early 2000s. Known for their remarkable performances, the duo played pivotal roles for the national team. Sachin Tendulkar, a cricket icon, amassed over 34,000 international runs, while Kaif established himself as a reliable middle-order batsman and exceptional fielder. Kaif notably played a crucial role in India’s memorable victory in the 2002 NatWest Series Final at Lord’s.
Saaniya, hailing from a renowned business family and the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, has strong ties with the Tendulkar family. She shares a close bond with Arjun’s sister Sara. Meanwhile, Arjun is pursuing his cricketing career at the domestic level and currently represents the Goa cricket team. Having previously been associated with the Mumbai Indians, the left-arm all-rounder has now joined the Lucknow Super Giants for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season.
