Following his release from Patna’s Beur Central Jail, Mokama MLA Anant Kumar Singh was warmly welcomed at his residence in Patna by a large gathering of supporters. Chants of “Chhote Sarkar Zindabad” filled the air as he arrived, greeted with flower garlands and a jubilant atmosphere.
The celebrations escalated with fireworks illuminating the sky and enthusiastic slogans resonating throughout the vicinity. Despite Anant Kumar Singh’s request for the crowd to disperse and return later, the supporters’ fervor remained unwavering.
Supporters have planned further celebrations, including a grand 50-kilometre roadshow in the Mokama constituency on Tuesday. Anant Singh is set to visit a temple in Barahiya and then proceed to his ancestral village, Nadma, accompanied by a sizable convoy of supporters.
Maintaining his innocence, Anant Singh addressed the media, asserting that he was four kilometers away at the time of the incident for which he was implicated. Responding to allegations against him, he questioned the reasons for being targeted and expressed his lack of knowledge about the accusations.
