A mother and her son tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. The fatal incident occurred when their car collided with a stationary Hyva truck while returning from a wedding ceremony in Patna. The impact of the crash was so severe that the car’s front portion was completely mangled, trapping the occupants inside.
Local authorities and villagers, upon receiving the news, rushed to the scene to assist in the rescue operation. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where the mother and son were pronounced dead upon arrival. The other two family members involved in the accident are in critical condition and have been transferred to a hospital in Ranchi for further treatment.
Police have initiated an investigation into the accident and have seized both vehicles involved. Initial findings suggest that overspeeding or driver fatigue may have contributed to the collision. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination, while the investigation into the incident continues.
