Multiple Teams Secure Wins at 16th Hockey India Sub-junior Men National Championship

Delhi, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Mizoram, and Bihar emerged victorious in their respective matches at the 16th Hockey India Sub-junior Men National Championship 2026 in Rajgir, Bihar. Meanwhile, Assam and Le Puducherry played to a draw on the fourth day of the tournament.

In the first game, Delhi Hockey dominated Hockey Gujarat with a resounding 30-0 victory in Pool A of Division B. Siddharth shone with eight goals, while Aryan scored five times. The second match saw Hockey Uttarakhand defeating Telangana Hockey 4-0, with Kumar Aman securing a hat-trick.

Chhattisgarh Hockey triumphed over Hockey Karnataka 4-1 in the third match of Division B. Lavi Manikpuri, Abhishek Yadav, Mini Rohan, and Om Kumar Yadav were the scorers for Chhattisgarh. Hockey Jammu & Kashmir secured a narrow 2-1 win against Hockey Rajasthan, with Sukhpreet Singh and Harmandeep Singh finding the net.

Hockey Mizoram clinched a convincing victory over Hockey Andhra Pradesh, led by Captain Joseph Malsawmtluanga’s hat-trick. In another match, Hockey Bihar emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline against Hockey Himachal. The day concluded with a 2-2 draw between Assam Hockey and Le Puducherry Hockey in an exciting encounter.
