Players and coaching staff of the Mumbai Indians’ Women’s Premier League (WPL) squad started the new year with an in-house celebration. The franchise organized a party for all members who have joined the camp for the fourth edition of the tournament. MI shared a video on social media showing players, head coach Lisa Keightley, and bowling coach Jhulan Goswami cutting a cake and enjoying themselves.

MI began their training camp on December 30 for the upcoming WPL, which will be held at two venues: DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara from January 9 to February 5. The defending champions will kick off their campaign on January 9 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the DY Patil Stadium.

Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians are gearing up to defend their title in the WPL. Having won the first and third editions, they are focused on maintaining their success in the upcoming tournament. The team is enthusiastic and looking forward to the competition as they prepare for the matches ahead.
