Namdhari FC managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Dempo SC in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 match held at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa. Khangembam Bidyashagar Singh scored the equalizer for Namdhari in the first half, countering an early lead taken by Dempo through Marcus Joseph’s penalty.

Dempo SC, initially leading with Joseph’s goal in the ninth minute, faced strong opposition from Namdhari, who capitalized on a defensive error to level the score. Despite Dempo’s persistent attacks, Namdhari’s goalkeeper Niraj Kumar made crucial saves, ensuring the match ended in a draw.

The result places Dempo SC in ninth position on the table with three points, while Namdhari FC climbs to seventh with six points. Bidyashagar Singh was recognized as the Player of the Match for his significant impact on the game.
