Naoba Meitei’s last-minute goal led Rajasthan United FC to a 1-0 win against Gokulam Kerala FC in the Star Cement Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 at the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. The goal came after a goalless match that lasted over 100 minutes, propelling the hosts to second place in the table with 14 points, while Gokulam Kerala FC remained in seventh place with eight points. Meitei was named Man of the Match for his performance.

Rajasthan United’s head coach Vikrant Sharma made a tactical change, introducing Pranjal Bhumij in midfield, while Gokulam Kerala’s head coach Dimitris Dimitriou made two alterations, including the return of goalkeeper Shibinraj Kunniyil. The game started with Gokulam Kerala on the offensive, testing Rajasthan’s defense early on, but without creating clear opportunities.

As the match progressed, Rajasthan gained momentum, with Amadou Soukouna and Jonathan Fernandes coming close to scoring. Despite both teams having chances, the first half ended goalless, with Rajasthan hitting the crossbar and Gokulam Kerala’s goalkeeper making crucial saves. The second half saw both teams pushing for a breakthrough, with Rajasthan eventually securing the win through Meitei’s decisive strike in extra time.

The intense encounter saw Gokulam Kerala pressing for an equalizer in the closing stages, but Rajasthan’s defense held firm to clinch a hard-fought victory.
