The NCP-Ajit Pawar group reiterated its trust in Sunetra Pawar’s leadership, aiming to showcase unity and uphold Ajit Pawar’s legacy. Sunetra Pawar, in a meeting with legislators and senior party members, emphasized the importance of party cohesion and urged everyone to work towards the party’s relevance at both state and national levels. She highlighted the necessity for unity within the party to ensure its growth, especially following Ajit Pawar’s unfortunate passing.
Tuesday’s gathering marked the first meeting post the unveiling of a new National Executive list, which stirred political discussions in Maharashtra. The new executive lineup featured Sunetra Pawar as National President, Parth Pawar as National General Secretary, and Jai Pawar as a National Secretary. The absence of key figures like Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel led to speculations about potential internal changes within the party.
During the meeting, Sunetra Pawar stressed the need for unity, setting aside previous uncertainties. Despite a verbal exchange between Sunil Tatkare and Chhagan Bhujbal, the party aims to strengthen its organizational structure through a statewide tour. Tatkare assured that all misunderstandings had been resolved and positive discussions were held regarding the National Executive.
Experts presented on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and the party plans to celebrate its anniversary on June 10, signaling readiness to face challenges and expand further.
