National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders criticized the Opposition for avoiding a discussion on the examination paper leak issue. Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh accused the Opposition of acting irresponsibly and amplifying the protest movement through social media accounts from Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of responsible opposition behavior for the functioning of democracy.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh highlighted the contrast between the Opposition’s actions and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response to the issue. Singh accused Opposition leaders of trying to gain political advantage from the situation. He praised the Prime Minister for standing with the students affected by the exam paper leak and emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring justice through strict laws and fast-track courts.

BJP MP Jagdambika Pal expressed readiness for a discussion in Parliament on the issue but accused the Opposition of avoiding debate. He criticized the Opposition for not wanting a discussion and highlighted the government’s efforts to address the concerns raised. BJP MP Rahul Sinha also questioned the Opposition’s reluctance to engage in a discussion in the House, pointing out the invitations extended by the Prime Minister and the Minister for a dialogue.

As the Lok Sabha session began with tributes to Kargil War martyrs, disruptions by Opposition members continued for the fifth consecutive day. Speaker Om Birla urged members to allow the House to function smoothly and emphasized the significance of Question Hour. Despite appeals for structured discussions on various issues, disruptions persisted, leading to repeated adjournments of Lok Sabha proceedings.
