The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to hold three significant public gatherings in Andhra Pradesh to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the NDA governments at the Centre and in the state. These meetings will take place in Tirupati, Amaravati, and Visakhapatnam from June 9 to 15 and will feature leaders from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena Party (JSP), and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The decision to organize these events was made during a coordination meeting of the NDA partners, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
At the meeting, attended by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, State BJP President PVN Madhav, State Minister Nadendla Manohar, and State TDP President Palla Srinivas Rao, it was decided that the public meetings would focus on highlighting the accomplishments of the NDA governments over the past two years. The gatherings will center on specific themes, with the Tirupati meeting emphasizing welfare, the Amaravati meeting focusing on good governance, and the Visakhapatnam meeting highlighting development. Additionally, a joint action plan was formulated to conduct these events and showcase the achievements of the state and Central governments.
State TDP President Srinivas Rao mentioned that public outreach programs will be conducted across districts from June 13 to 20 to showcase the government’s achievements. Union Ministers are expected to participate in these programs organized by the NDA allies. The NDA also discussed the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state and plans to launch a comprehensive campaign highlighting key initiatives and schemes implemented during the governance period. State BJP President Madhav expressed the NDA’s intention to engage with the public and emphasize the benefits brought about by the two-year governance of the Central and state governments, as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year tenure.
