Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is currently filming his first Malayalam movie, “Khalifa,” in Kozhikode. The team decided to mark Eid with a special celebration, including enjoying some delicious Biryani together on set. Neil shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing the festive atmosphere as everyone eagerly awaited the Biryani to be served.

On his birthday in January, Neil was officially welcomed to the Malayalam film industry by the makers of “Khalifa.” Prithviraj Sukumaran, the lead actor of the film, extended his wishes to Neil on social media, welcoming him to the industry. Directed by Vysakh, “Khalifa” reunites him with Prithviraj after a gap of 15 years since their last collaboration in the 2010 hit “Pokkiri Raja.”

“Khalifa,” written by Jinu V Abraham, revolves around a large-scale gold smuggling operation in the Middle East, with connections spanning from London and Nepal to Kerala. The film features cinematography by Jomon T. John and music by Jakes Bejoy. Chaman Chakko serves as the editor, while Yannick Ben is in charge of directing the action sequences.

The movie’s ensemble cast includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Mohanlal, and Krithi Shetty, among others.
