Newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin is scheduled to hold a crucial organizational meeting at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday. The meeting aims to gather senior party officials as the BJP initiates internal discussions under its new leadership.
All BJP state presidents and national secretaries have been instructed to participate in the meeting, which will focus on enhancing the organization and planning future political strategies. BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh is also anticipated to be part of the discussions.
Nabin assumed his role at the party headquarters in the national capital on Tuesday, shortly after being officially appointed to the position. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah accompanied him to his office, along with other senior leaders like Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and outgoing party president Jagat Prasad Nadda.
PM Modi also met briefly with Nitin Nabin’s family members, congratulating them on his significant role and engaging in light-hearted conversations. The elevation of 45-year-old Nitin Nabin as the BJP’s new national president signifies a new era and generational shift within the party, emphasizing the promotion of young leadership under his guidance.
During an address to BJP leaders and workers, PM Modi referred to Nitin Nabin as his ‘boss’ and positioned himself as a mere party worker. He highlighted Nabin’s ‘youth energy’ and extensive organizational experience, stating that these attributes will greatly benefit the party.
Following his election as the new BJP National President, Nitin Nabin expressed that this day symbolizes a moment of determination for him, as he not only assumes a position but also embraces the ideology, traditions, and responsibilities of the party’s nationalist movement.
