New Zealand’s Melie Kerr has reclaimed the top spot in the T20I all-rounders chart, surpassing West Indies skipper Healy Matthews in the latest ICC rankings. Kerr’s return to the top comes just before the upcoming T20 World Cup, with Matthews now at the second position after missing her team’s final match in a recent tri-series in Ireland.
The competition at the top of the all-rounders chart remains intense, with Kerr holding a narrow lead of only five rating points over Matthews. Both players are expected to battle for positions in the T20 World Cup set to kick off in England and Wales on June 12.
In the batters ranking, Australian players Georgia Voll and Beth Mooney maintain their positions as the top two batters heading into the tournament. Meanwhile, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has climbed one spot to re-enter the top 10 list after her impressive unbeaten half-century in a recent series decider against England.
Notable improvements in rankings have been seen for England players, including Alice Capsey, who moved up 13 places to secure the 30th spot in the T20I batters list after being named Player of the Match in a recent series decider with a remarkable 82-run innings. Bangladesh Skipper Nigar Sultana also advanced two positions to 18th in the batters ranking, while England’s Heather Knight rose to 21st place after climbing four spots.
England’s Linsey Smith retains her position as the top T20I bowler, maintaining a slight lead over Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal. Within the top 10 bowlers, England’s Lauren Bell moved up to share the second spot, Charlie Dean reached fourth place, and South Africa’s Nonkululek Mlaba climbed to fifth after a two-spot improvement.
While Kerr and Matthews lead the T20I all-rounders chart, Scotland captain Kathryn Bryce made significant progress, moving up nine places to secure the 17th position after notable performances in a recent tri-series against Bangladesh and the Netherlands.
