The upcoming schedule of director Vetrimaaran’s action film ‘Arasan’, starring Silambarasan, is set to commence in March. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu confirmed that Silambarasan, also known as Simbu, recently returned to India after a brief foreign trip, with the next filming phase scheduled for March. Additionally, it was clarified that Vijay Sethupathi remains part of the project, dismissing earlier reports suggesting otherwise.
Actor and director Samuthirakani has also affirmed his involvement in the much-anticipated movie. Following the completion of the first schedule in Kovilpatti last December and the subsequent January filming, the team is preparing for the third schedule starting in March. The film, generating high anticipation, marks the first collaboration between Simbu and director Vetri Maran, backed by renowned producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.
The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and includes director Nelson in a promotional video released last year. The narrative hints at a compelling storyline, with Simbu cautioning about the sensitive nature of the content. The promo teases a gripping tale intertwined with real events, setting the stage for an intriguing cinematic experience. ‘Arasan’ promises to deliver a unique narrative within the realm of ‘Vada Chennai’.
