Coming from a political family, Nitin Nabin is the son of the late Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, a respected four-time MLA from Patna West. He hails from the Chitraguptavanshi Kayastha community. Nitin Nabin entered electoral politics early, winning a by-election to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2006. He has since been a five-time MLA, representing the Bankipur constituency with consistent victories.
Nitin Nabin has also played a significant role in the party organization, serving as the state president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Bihar and later as its national general secretary.
