Online Ludo gambling has been revealed as a significant factor in a disturbing case involving Rahul Meena from Rajgarh, Rajasthan. Meena is accused of raping a friend’s wife in Alwar and then murdering the daughter of a Delhi-based IRS officer shortly after. The investigation indicates that both the victim’s husband and the accused were engaged in online Ludo gambling, leading to substantial financial losses.
Sudhir Chaudhary, the Superintendent of Police in Alwar, mentioned that the motives behind the crimes appear to be personal enmity, financial troubles, and a desire for revenge. The accused’s father confirmed that Meena was involved in online Ludo gaming, shedding light on a possible addiction to online gambling.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Meena, a 19-year-old resident of Rajgarh, has a history of financial irregularities and was previously employed at the victim’s residence in Delhi. After being dismissed, he returned to his village in March before the tragic events unfolded.
