More than 6.32 crore citizens have registered on the MyGov platform, as announced by the government. The platform, known for hosting public consultations, polls, and surveys of national significance, has seen a substantial increase in user engagement.
Union MoS Electronics and Information Technology, Jitin Prasada, revealed that the platform had a total of 6,32,16,167 registered users by July 10, 2026, with a notable growth in registrations over the past five years. During this period, MyGov conducted 180 discussions with 7,77,068 participants, along with 15 polls and 56 surveys.
MyGov, a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India, collaborates with various government bodies to involve citizens in policy formulation. It offers features like discussions, creative tasks, polls, surveys, and on-ground activities to enhance citizen participation.
Compiled opinions and suggestions from discussions on MyGov are shared with relevant ministries for consideration in policy formulation. The platform, available in 12 languages, aims to bridge linguistic barriers and promote inclusive engagement.
