The release date of director Sudha Kongara’s much-anticipated period film ‘Parasakthi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela, has been moved up to January 10 next year. Initially planned for a January 14 release for the Pongal festival, the decision to advance the release was announced by Dawn Pictures, the film’s production company. They stated that the change came after discussions and requests from exhibitors and distributors worldwide who have high hopes for the film’s success. Fans and movie enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the film, with Sivakarthikeyan already starting dubbing in November. Actress Sreeleela and actor Ravi Mohan have also completed their dubbing for the film, with Sreeleela using her own voice. The shooting of ‘Parasakthi’ wrapped up in October, with filming locations including Madurai, Sri Lanka, and Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. Set in the 1960s in Madras, the film’s teaser hints at a storyline centered around a college protest and a conflict between Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan’s characters. ‘Parasakthi’, also known as #SK25, features music by G V Prakash, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, and stunts by Supreme Sundar.
