Paris Saint-Germain secured a 2-0 victory over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg at Anfield. Ousmane Dembele’s two goals in the second half sealed a 4-0 aggregate win, propelling PSG to the semifinals for the third consecutive season and the sixth time in their history. The defending champions will face either FC Bayern or Real Madrid in the next round.

In a match where PSG initially posed a threat, Liverpool’s attempts were thwarted by strong goalkeeping performances. Despite Liverpool’s pressure, the first half ended goalless with both teams evenly matched. The Reds intensified their attacks in the second half, but PSG’s defense held firm, denying Liverpool any breakthroughs.

Liverpool’s desperate offensive efforts in the second half were in vain as PSG remained resilient. Dembele’s clinical finishing, supported by his teammates, secured the victory for Paris Saint-Germain on English turf. The match concluded with PSG emerging victorious with a 2-0 scoreline in stoppage time.
