Rijiju criticized the Opposition for attempting to remove Om Birla and highlighted the significant advancements made during his tenure, such as the transition to a digital parliament and increased opportunities for new members to participate in discussions. He credited Om Birla for streamlining House proceedings and enhancing its efficiency.

He condemned the Opposition’s move to oust Om Birla, noting the increased productivity and inclusivity under his leadership.
Rijiju commended Om Birla’s conduct in managing the House proceedings and underscored the pride felt by ruling lawmakers in serving during this period. He criticized the Opposition for what he perceived as a malicious strategy to tarnish the reputation of constitutional bodies by targeting the Speaker.
