Subsequently, a charge-sheet was filed against Raja Kumar by the Circle Officer, Masaurhi, after his arrest on corruption charges.
Proper disciplinary procedures were conducted against the accused employee, as confirmed by the District Magistrate. An Inquiry Officer and Presenting Officer were appointed to oversee the inquiry process, which concluded with all charges against Raja Kumar being substantiated. The District Magistrate emphasized the severity of the charges, stating that Raja Kumar’s actions violated the Bihar Service Code.
Despite being provided with opportunities to defend himself, Raja Kumar failed to provide a satisfactory explanation, leading to his immediate dismissal under the Bihar Government Servants (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 2005. The District Magistrate reiterated the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, emphasizing the strict enforcement of this policy by the district administration.
