Phoenix Hyderabad took an early lead in the team competition at the IGPL Invitational 2026 Mauritius, held at the Anahita Golf Course by Leander Paes. Sachin Baisoya’s exceptional performance helped Phoenix secure the team honors, with a 14-under finish over three days, outperforming Mumbai’s Atri and RVR Delhi.
Sachin Baisoya of Phoenix claimed the individual stroke play title, while Veer Ganapathy from GolfKonnect Bangalore came in second place. Phoenix accumulated 100 points, Atri 90, and RVR 80, with these points contributing to the season-end team championship determination in the IGPL events.
The Phoenix team, comprising Baisoya, Raghav Chugh, Ranjit Singh, and Arjun Bhati, showcased a strong performance. Atri’s team featured Olympian Udayan Mane, Aman Raj, Aadil Bedi, and Tushar Pannu, while the Delhi team included Shiv Kapur, Chiragh Kumar, Aryan Roopa Anand, and Gaurav Ghei.
In this unique stroke play event, team scores were calculated based on the two highest scores from each team. Baisoya played a pivotal role for Phoenix, supported by Raghav Chugh. Aman was the standout player for Atri, with contributions from Aman and Udyan. RVR saw a collective effort from all four players across the tournament days.
This edition of the IGPL Invitational introduced a team competition for the first time, with 40 players selected through an auction process earlier in the month.
