A three-day photo exhibition in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, will highlight the Narendra Modi government’s 12 years in office and commemorate India’s victory in the 1999 Kargil War. The exhibition, titled “12 Years of Service and Good Governance” and “The Saga of Kargil Victory,” is a collaborative effort by the Central Bureau of Communication, the Jabalpur district administration, and Government Mahakoshal Autonomous College. It will take place from July 25 to 27 at the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence.
The event aims to showcase the accomplishments achieved under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, focusing on good governance, inclusive development, and the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. Additionally, it will pay tribute to the Indian Army’s triumph in the Kargil War and honor the 557 soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s territorial integrity. The exhibition will feature cultural performances, awareness programs, quizzes, and competitions for students and visitors, with prizes for the winners.
The exhibition, open to the public free of charge from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. daily, seeks to raise awareness among citizens, especially the youth, about India’s developmental journey. It also aims to inspire through the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces during the Kargil conflict. Coinciding with Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, the event invites citizens, students, and public representatives to participate in the programs and visit the exhibition.
