External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with President Lula to discuss advancing the Strategic Partnership between India and Brazil. He expressed optimism that the discussions between President Lula and PM Modi would boost bilateral relations.
Following the meeting, EAM Jaishankar stated that he was honored to meet with President Lula and appreciated his guidance on strengthening the Strategic Partnership. He anticipated a positive impact on the ties between the two nations.
President Lula’s visit to India for the 2nd AI Impact Summit included meetings with PM Modi to review various aspects of their bilateral relations. The leaders also engaged in discussions on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
India and Brazil, as Strategic Partners since 2006, share a strong relationship based on democratic values and cooperation across multiple sectors. The visit aimed to deepen cooperation in trade, defense, energy, agriculture, health, technology, and other areas of mutual interest.
