Modi also praised the local body and panchayat election results in Gujarat, describing them as robust and widely discussed across the country.
The Prime Minister underscored Gujarat’s historical emphasis on political stability, stating that the state’s populace has consistently valued this aspect. He emphasized the role of stability in fostering economic growth and development, citing Gujarat’s experience as a testament to the benefits of continuity in governance. Modi stressed the correlation between electoral results, governance performance, and public trust, asserting that sustained voter support reflects confidence in long-term development policies.
Furthermore, Modi highlighted the importance of grassroots democratic participation in strengthening institutional frameworks and enhancing service delivery mechanisms. He concluded by illustrating how stability and governance continuity in Gujarat have influenced both development outcomes and electoral trends over time. During the event, Modi was honored with the ‘Sardar Gaurav Ratna’ by Patidar community organizations and announced initiatives related to the Sardar Dham educational and social development framework, including the Sardar Dham Education Support Yojana with a budget of Rs 500 crore.
