Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also mourned Ajit Pawar’s sudden passing, highlighting his commitment to Maharashtra’s development and his compassion for the people. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari paid tribute to Ajit Pawar’s administrative skills, vision for development, and his ability to connect with the masses, emphasizing his significant role in Maharashtra’s politics.
Other political figures, including Union Minister C.R. Paatil, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal, expressed shock and sorrow at Ajit Pawar’s demise. They praised his contributions to politics and extended condolences to his family and supporters, acknowledging the loss to Maharashtra and the nation.

NCP working president Praful Patel, NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule, and Ajit Pawar’s family members left for Baramati to pay their respects.
