Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress party for the chaos and disruptions in the Parliament during the Budget Session. He highlighted an incident where women Congress MPs surrounded his seat in the Lok Sabha, preventing him from delivering his speech. PM Modi emphasized that winning people’s hearts is essential to becoming Prime Minister, not resorting to disruptive tactics like sending women MPs to occupy seats. He condemned Congress for hindering the functioning of Parliament and causing losses to its allied parties.
The Prime Minister also condemned Congress for its youth wing’s shirtless protest at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, labeling it as a sign of the party’s ideological bankruptcy. He expressed disappointment over how the Congress leadership turned a significant global event into a platform for what he called “dirty and naked politics.” PM Modi accused Congress of defaming the nation and criticized them for not appreciating the progress made by India.
Furthermore, PM Modi called out the Congress leaders for praising the youth wing’s protest instead of condemning it. He urged the media to stop shielding the Indian National Congress by referring to them as “the opposition.” The Prime Minister expressed gratitude towards the allies of the INDIA bloc for criticizing the Youth Congress’ protest and standing against the actions of the Congress party.
