Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government sectors at the 19th Rozgar Mela. During the virtual address, PM Modi emphasized the crucial role these individuals will play in the nation’s development journey.
He acknowledged the efforts and preparations made by the youth and their families, highlighting the collective contribution of society towards their success. PM Modi also shared insights from his recent five-nation tour, noting the global enthusiasm for India’s youth and technological advancements.
The Prime Minister underscored the significance of partnerships with different countries to provide opportunities, employment, and exposure to Indian youth. He mentioned key agreements signed during his visits to the UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, emphasizing their positive impact on India’s youth.
PM Modi specifically mentioned the strategic partnership between ASML and Tata Electronics to facilitate advanced lithography tools for India’s first commercial semiconductor fabrication plant in Gujarat’s Dholera. The Rozgar Mela, in alignment with the government’s focus on employment generation, aims to turn this vision into reality.
The 19th Rozgar Mela took place at 47 locations nationwide, with the newly appointed candidates set to join various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. These include significant departments such as the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others.
