Speaking at the 18th edition of the Rozgar Mela via video conference, PM Modi underscored the increasing opportunities for the country’s young population in sectors driven by innovation, creativity, and technology.
PM Modi emphasized that India, with one of the world’s youngest populations, is witnessing the creation of new avenues for its youth, both nationally and internationally. He mentioned the signing of trade and mobility agreements with various countries, which are opening up diverse opportunities for Indian youth globally.
The Prime Minister pointed out the rapid growth in areas such as animation and digital media, which are emerging as key sectors offering promising prospects for young professionals. He noted that India’s digital economy, particularly in fields like animation and digital media, is evolving into a global center of excellence.
Highlighting the significant investments in modern infrastructure, PM Modi stated that these initiatives have led to a substantial increase in employment opportunities in construction and development-related sectors. The focus on large-scale infrastructure projects has not only created jobs but has also contributed to overall economic growth.
PM Modi also acknowledged the rapid expansion of India’s start-up ecosystem, with approximately two lakh registered start-ups employing over 21 lakh young individuals. He attributed this growth to the increasing entrepreneurial zeal among India’s youth and the supportive policy framework established by the government.
