PM Modi Expresses Condolences Over Agnivesh Agarwal’s Untimely Passing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep shock and sadness at the sudden demise of Agnivesh Agarwal, the son of Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal. Agnivesh, who passed away at the age of 49, was remembered as a vibrant individual with ambitious dreams. Anil Agarwal shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that Agnivesh suffered a sudden cardiac arrest following a skiing accident in the US.

Agnivesh, an alumnus of Mayo College, Ajmer, went on to establish the successful company Fujairah Gold before becoming the Chairman of Hindustan Zinc. Anil Agarwal expressed his grief, stating that the loss of his son marked the darkest day of his life. He reiterated their shared commitment to social causes and pledged to continue their philanthropic endeavors.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal extended his condolences to Anil Agarwal, acknowledging the profound loss. Goyal empathized with the Agarwal family’s pain and offered prayers for strength during this difficult period. He expressed hope for Agnivesh’s soul to find eternal peace.
