Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the nation on Mahavir Jayanti, highlighting the importance of truth, non-violence, and compassion in Bhagwan Mahavir’s teachings. Mahavira Janma Kalyanaka, a key Jain festival, marks the birth of Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara, typically celebrated in March or April.

PM Modi conveyed his best wishes on Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Mahavir’s principles in today’s world. He praised Mahavir’s emphasis on equality and kindness, underscoring our collective duty to society. The Prime Minister also previewed the inauguration of the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.

Scheduled to visit Gujarat, PM Modi will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum, along with launching various developmental projects spanning cultural, technological, and infrastructural domains. The museum, named after Samrat Samprati, showcases seven wings dedicated to different facets of India’s civilizational heritage, housing over 2,000 rare artifacts for a comprehensive understanding of Jainism’s evolution and contributions to humanity.
