Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with over 400 youths from 250 districts in the ‘Viksit Vibrant Village’ program. The initiative, part of MY Bharat, aims to empower border villages as integral parts of India’s development.
During the interaction, law student Nikita shared her experience of visiting a border village in Himachal Pradesh. She highlighted the warm hospitality of the villagers and their involvement in various activities, including administration and farming.
PM Modi encouraged Nikita to connect with the villagers via video call and humorously mentioned the availability of 4G network in the area. He praised the participants for their solo journeys, emphasizing the importance of self-discovery and confidence among India’s youth.
Sunil Kumar Kela, another participant from a border village in Rajasthan, shared his experience of visiting a village in Himachal Pradesh. He noted the similarities in patriotism and warmth between the two regions and highlighted the advancements in infrastructure and solar energy utilization in the border village.
The Prime Minister commended the unity and emotional connection among youth from different regions, emphasizing the significance of border villages in the nation’s development. Participants from diverse backgrounds expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore and contribute to the growth of these villages.
