Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at an NDA rally in Tiruvalla, Kerala, declared that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government’s days are limited. He emphasized a significant political change in the state, expressing confidence in the NDA’s growing support in central Kerala. PM Modi highlighted the commencement of Kerala’s development journey from Tiruvalla, projecting Anup Antony as the NDA’s candidate in the constituency.
Large crowds gathered along the route as PM Modi traveled from Kochi to Tiruvalla, where he addressed the audience in Malayalam after offering prayers to Lord Ayyappa. He mentioned the readiness of voters to bid farewell to the ruling LDF, criticizing both the LDF and the United Democratic Front (UDF) for their failure in delivering substantial development. PM Modi underscored the need for improved infrastructure, citing deficiencies at Kottayam Medical College and advocating for better roads and bridges across Kerala.
PM Modi highlighted the increased Central allocations received by Kerala under his government compared to the previous Congress-led regime. He pledged accelerated infrastructure and welfare initiatives under a BJP-led government, promising the benefits of a “double-engine” administration. The Prime Minister outlined various ongoing and proposed projects, including the progress in national highway works and the operation of Vande Bharat Express services in Kottayam.
PM Modi also mentioned the Sabarimala airport project’s potential, criticizing the state government for delays. He assured that the NDA, if elected, would expedite such projects, ushering in a new phase of development in Kerala. PM Modi expressed his guarantee of a transformative era under the NDA’s governance.
