Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm Baisakhi greetings, emphasizing gratitude, renewal, and the vital role of farmers in a social media post. The festival signifies the founding of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the teachings of Sikh Gurus.

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi also wished citizens happiness and prosperity on Baisakhi. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge extended warm wishes for various regional festivals, including Baisakhi, symbolizing new beginnings and unity.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed Baisakhi as a symbol of India’s agricultural heritage and vibrant traditions. He conveyed congratulations to farmers, the Sikh community, and residents, wishing for happiness, prosperity, and renewed energy for all.

Leaders from different political backgrounds celebrated Baisakhi, highlighting its cultural and agricultural significance, showcasing India’s diversity and shared spirit of renewal.
