PM Modi Reflects on India’s Achievements in 2025, Looks Forward to 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his recent ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address, highlighted the significant events of 2025 that boosted India’s self-confidence. He emphasized the country’s progress across various sectors, from national security to sports and space exploration. PM Modi praised the Indian Armed Forces for their successful military operation, Operation Sindoor, against terrorists, showcasing India’s unwavering commitment to security.

The Prime Minister commended the achievements in sports, including victories by the Men’s and Women’s Cricket Teams and para-athletes. He also lauded Indian astronaut Shubanshu Shukla for becoming the first Indian to reach the International Space Station. Additionally, PM Modi noted advancements in environmental protection and wildlife conservation, with the cheetah population in India surpassing 30.

In 2025, India celebrated its rich cultural heritage through events like the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh and the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. PM Modi highlighted the growing popularity of indigenous products and emphasized the nation’s self-reliance. While acknowledging the challenges posed by natural disasters, he expressed optimism for the upcoming year, stating that India is poised to embrace 2026 with renewed aspirations.
