Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to speak at the annual National Cadet Corps (NCC) PM Rally at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi. The event, themed ‘Rashtra Pratham – Kartavya Nishtha Yuva’, emphasizes duty, discipline, and national commitment among India’s youth. The rally, marking the conclusion of the month-long NCC Republic Day Camp 2026, will feature 2,406 cadets from India and 21 foreign countries, including 898 girl cadets.
The NCC PM Rally will showcase a cultural program presented by NCC cadets, members of Rashtriya Rangshala, and the National Service Scheme. The program aims to highlight the cadets’ contributions to nation-building, social service, and character development. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during his visit to the camp, praised NCC cadets as the nation’s second line of defense. He urged youth to draw inspiration from their role in raising public awareness during critical situations like Operation Sindoor.
Rajnath Singh emphasized the importance of physical, mental, and emotional strength for youth in facing uncertainties. He commended the NCC for instilling discipline, patriotism, and focus in cadets, addressing the issue of ‘lack of focus’. Singh noted that the NCC teaches qualities essential for life’s challenges and nation-building responsibilities. He highlighted the impact of NCC training on individuals pursuing diverse career paths, including those in the Armed Forces, healthcare, education, science, administration, and politics.
