Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in seven campaign programs in West Bengal this week, commencing from April 9, amidst the crucial two-phase Assembly elections in the state.
According to a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, the Prime Minister is expected to address three large campaign rallies on April 9 at Asansol, Suri, and Haldia consecutively.
On April 11, PM Modi is scheduled to speak at three campaign rallies in Jangipur, Katwa, and Balurghat, followed by a night stay in Siliguri on the same day and a roadshow in Siliguri town on April 12.
The Prime Minister’s campaign itinerary includes a total of 14 programs, culminating in a rally and roadshow in Bhabanipur Assembly constituency, where the Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari is contesting against the current Trinamool Congress legislator and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
